SHAPING THE FUTURE OF EGYPT
L'Ecole de l'Avenir
We are an international school that operates in collaboration with the CNED, following the French curriculum until students obtain the DNB (Diplôme National du Brevet) and the French Baccalaureate at the end of the cycle. Our vision is to nurture well-rounded, confident, and responsible individuals who strive to reach their full potential. We accomplish this by fostering a welcoming, joyful, secure, and supportive learning environment where equality is upheld, and all accomplishments are celebrated.
Our slogan encapsulates our belief: ‘You have the right, but you also have the duty!

Ms. Gihan Kotb
School Director
Ms. Gihane Kotb is the Director of l’Ecole de l’Avenir. She has over 25 years of experience in education, having served as a teacher, head teacher, and admissions department staff at Futures Schools. Upon her arrival, Ms. Gihane successfully spearheaded a qualitative transformation, notably by signing a memorandum of understanding with the Centre d’Enseignement (CNED) in France in 2015. This collaboration has resulted in the successful promotion of several batches of students to the BAC, with a 100% success rate over the past three years.
“When I see our students receiving the BAC degree and are continuing their studies in French universities, it reassures that the efforts made have not been in vain.”

Teaching Methods
At Futures Language Schools, we believe in incorporating various teaching methods and approaches, to ensure that students receive a well-rounded education that emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and cross-cultural understanding.
One of the key components of our educational philosophy is project-based learning. Students work on long-term projects that require them to apply knowledge and skills in a real-world context. This approach can foster collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving skills, as students work together to find solutions to complex problems.
We strongly believe in the power of collaborative learning to enhance student’s educational experiences. The school encourages its students to work in small groups to complete tasks and solve problems. Through group assignments and extracurricular activities, students develop essential interpersonal skills, such as communication and teamwork, while building a sense of community within the school.
We also place a strong emphasis on inquiry-based learning. This approach encourages students to explore topics and concepts, developing their understanding through investigation and discovery. Teachers provide guidance and support as students explore their interests and engage in critical thinking and problem-solving.
We recognize that students learn best through hands-on experiences that enable them to apply what they have learned in a real-world context. To support experiential learning, the school provides students with opportunities to participate in field trips, simulations, and other experiential activities that promote learning through discovery and exploration.
